In this report, we examined the P value variability in Student's two-sample t-test and Wilcoxon Rank-Sum test based on the a variety of simulated datasets. The simulated testing datasets include numeric different distributions such as normal distribution, poisson distribution, exponentional distribution and mixed distributio. Our outcome demonstrated that P value is not a reliable indicator for statistical feature selection. |
