In this report, the adsorption/desorption characteristics of black tea anthocyanins (BTA) on eight types of macroporous resins (ADS-5, ADS-8; ADS-17; NKA-9; XAD-16; AB-8; D-101; X-5) were evaluated, ADS-8 and NKA-9 showed higher adsorption/desorption capacities. On the basis of static adsorption test, ADS-8 and NKA-9 resins were selected for kinetics, isotherms and thermodynamics. The adsorption mechanism indicated that the process was better explained by pseudo-first-order kinetics and the Langmuir isotherm model, and the thermodynamics tests showed the processes were exothermic, spontaneous and thermodynamically feasible. |
