Depth sensors provides promising indoor depth sensing capability, and human bodies are the most common objects in indoor environments. Usual indoor environments may have similar colors to those of hairs, skin and/or clothes, which makes body segmentation difficult. We propose a novel body segmentation scheme from RGB-D and skeleton data generated by Kinect. The joint use of skeleton and RGB-D information shows better segmentation performance. |
