Air pollution has become a crucial issue of society development and human’s health. The marine exhaust gases from coastal cities occupied a large proportion of the air pollution, especially the NOx, which had attracted widespread attention at home and abroad. As marine diesel engines use heavy oil as fuel, it contains much more SO2 than other kinds of waste gases. SO2 reacted with NH3 and formed sulfates, which could be adhered to the surface of the catalyst and deactivated the catalysts. Thus it’s essential to develop novel SCR catalysts with excellent low temperature sulfur and water resistance for marine exhaust NOx treatment. |
