内容提要:

This presentation focuses on language knowledge and language proficiency in the process of achieving L2 academic and interpersonal competence.Key words in my presentation are Academic competence, Interpersonal competence, Language Knowledge, Language Proficiency, Bottom-up processing, Top-down processing.  

 

three basic questions are:

Why learners achieve different levels of proficiency in language use?

What knowledge of language is required for different types of language use?

How second language proficiency are achieved?

 

There are four parts, Academic and interpersonal competence, Language Knowledge, language proficiency, and conclusion. Firstly, let’s take a look at academic and interpersonal competence.
