Critical current (Ic) of YBCO coated conductor
and Bi-2223 tape samples was measured at temperatures from 20K to 80K, applied magnetic
field from 0 to 3.5T, magnetic field angle from 0 to 90°. Ic-temperature dependency, Ic-magnetic field dependency,
and Ic- field angle dependency of those samples were investigated. The Ic
variation characteristic at different conditions for each kind of sample was systematically
studied. Comparisons in Ic performance at compatible conditions between these
two categories of samples were made. This presentation will give the results of
those studies. These results may be helpful for applications of HTS conductors. |
