Based on Hansen solubility parameters (HSP) and the basic principle (“like dissolves like”) in sovlent selection ， The researches about the relations between HSP of solvent and the extraction efficiency in removing oil pollutants from soils were carried out. The HSP sphere of high-efficiency solvent was R_M = 3.2 and the fractional parameters sphere were dispersion component fractional parameter ( f_d) 62-85, polar component fractional parameter (f_p) 2-20 and hydrogen bonding component fractional parameter (f_h) 7-22. According the HPS sphere, a series of mixed-solvents with character of low-toxic, acceptable cost, high efficiency and environmental friendly were developed.
