A new method of coking coal charged into 400kg top-charge coke oven, in which cylinder with telescopic and high temperature resistant is used to fill the coking chamber with dense phase continuous flow. Based on this method, theoretical analysis, calculation and numerical simulation were used to study the forces and motion of coal particles and gas phase resistance under the conditions of temperature gradient and different falling height during charging. According to the research, we found that coal particles are affected by the resistance of airflow, thermophoretic force, gravity, Saffman lift force and collision force. Larger particles is mainly determined by gravity, while the smaller particles is mainly determined by particle collision and thermophoretic force plays an important role for Medium diameter particles. With the increase of the blanking height, the escape amount and escape velocity of particles on both sides of cylinder outlet increased, and different blanking heights have different effects on gas-solid coupling characteristics. |
