With the improvement of living standard, so it’s the same with security awareness of people, video surveillance is being widely used in our daily life. Based on the advanced computer vision technology, intelligent video surveillance has come into being recently. Similarly, vacancy detection is so vital in keeping human life and properties in safety. Vacancy detection, can detect whether the person is on duty or not from the video sequence. When vacancy appears, the system will trigger the alarm immediately. Experimental results show that with the proposed detection algorithm, vacancy can be detected in time to prevent the potential safety problems caused by vacancy effectively. |
