China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is part of China’s One Belt One Road (OBOR) initiative which aims to bring the region together through enhanced connectivity. Pakistan’s geostrategic location would pay real dividends allowing regional countries access to warm waters through shortest land routes. In current study, rating scale has been developed which will be further used in preparation of Environmental aspect impact analysis (EAIA) for CPEC projects, Environmental aspect and impact analysis (EAIA) log sheet has been developed which will be used for calculation and preparation of formal record of different projects that come under CPEC, Impact control plan of the activities that impose significant environmental impacts has been developed using statistical technique which will be helpful in mitigating potential harmful impacts on environment. |
