The cytotoxicity of mPEG-PLys(Cur)–TPE, Cur, and TPE in MCF-7 cells was determined using the standard MTT assay. In brief, the cells were incubated for 24 h on 96-well plates at a seeding density of 3 × 103 cells per well. The Cur dose ranged from 5 to 100 µg mL−1 and the TPE dose covered from 1 to 22 µg mL−1. After 24 h, the absorption was measured at 490 nm by Bio-Tek microplate reader and the IC50 value was determined accordingly. |
