We planned to synthesize them by using the Ru-center complex [RuCl(2-phenylpyridine)(p-cymene)]. we are excited to find that the desired product [RuBr(2-phenylpyridine)(p-cymene)] was successfully obtained in a high yield. we also tried to conduct functionalization of p-cymene ligand of compound [RuCl(2-phenylpyridine)(p-cymene)]. And in our lab, we got a Ru-center complex with a morpholine substituted p-cymene in a low yield. |
