The issue of vocational education and training needs to be studied in the context of economic globalization and profound political changes, and the motivation for the reform of vocational education and training system should be found in the development and changes of national politics, economy, society and culture.This paper selects four countries such as Japan, South Korea, India and Austria for comparative study, trying to find out the purpose, structure and development direction of vocational education and training system in response to the pressure of profound economic and social change.
