In this article, Fe3O4/SiO2 nanoparticles with amino-functionalized were synthesized in a simple one-pot process. The syntheticreaction took place in a water-in-oil microemulsion system, which was composed of cyclohexane, OP-10, n–butanol and water. The micoemulsion as a micoreactor for the formation of iron oxide silica coated and Amino-modified. Actually, this in situ synthesis method was based on a three-step process.
Step1.Synthesis of the Fe3O4 nanoparticles.
Step2.Formation of the Fe3O4/SiO2 nanocomposites.
Step3.Functionalization of the Fe3O4/SiO2 nanocomposites.
As a biological application of these magnetic silica nanoparticles, we fabricated crosslinked enzyme on them. Catalase was used in this study, and the enzyme activity was calculated from the time-dependent decrease of hydrogen peroxide. The results showed that the immobilized CAT had a good stability and reusability. |
