The purpose of this course is to introduce and familiarize the students with the novel conceptual system of Intelligent Manufacturing and its evolution progress, help students to sort out the key technologies of Intelligent Manufacturing and their applications in modern production process. The sections include: the history of Intelligent Manufacturing, the digital basis of Intelligent Manufacturing, the essential equipment and manufacturing resource for Intelligent Manufacturing, advanced control technology as well as some adaptive schedule for the Intelligent Manufacturing System will be discussed.

    In addition, this course also aims to help students learn about the underlying logic of Manufacturing Engineering developing history, understand and master the primary analysis method suitable for modern manufacturing enterprises and current production modes, handle the usage skill of highly integrated industry software VE2 to build the digital twin model for IMS and analysis and optimize it based on the real time industry data in cyber space.
